The Social Affairs, Culture and Sports Branch Directorate provides services through the Student Societies Unit, Organization Unit, Culture Unit, and Sports Unit.
Student Societies Unit Aiming to support the social, cultural, and academic development of Isparta University of Applied Sciences students, this unit considers the establishment and activities of student societies as an integral part of university life. It aims to regulate the working procedures and principles regarding the establishment and operational support of the societies formed or to be formed by the registered students of our University. In this context, it carries out the necessary procedures for the establishment and operation of Societies—which are formed to assist students in their social and cultural development through extracurricular social and sporting activities, to meet their social needs such as recreation and utilizing their leisure time, and to contribute to their academic development—and ensures the coordination of these Societies.
Organization Unit Aiming to monitor the organization of all kinds of activities (such as seminars, symposiums, scientific events, conferences, panels, and graduation ceremonies) carried out by university units in a faster, more programmed, centralized, and coordinated manner, this unit provides various services within the framework of these events. These services include arranging air travel and vehicle allocation, providing catering and subsistence, printing posters and materials, making accommodation reservations, ensuring inter-unit coordination, providing infrastructure services such as sound and stage lighting, and conducting the necessary official correspondence.
Culture Unit This unit organizes events to meet the social and cultural needs of our university's students. Through organized events such as theater plays, music recitals, and signing days, it aims to help students integrate, socialize, and spend their extracurricular time productively.
It organizes guided tours of the faculties, as well as social, cultural, and sports facilities, for high school students who visit the campus to explore, get acquainted, and gather information, ensuring they receive accurate details directly from the relevant units.
Furthermore, it actively promotes the university by participating in university promotion fairs and distributing brochures and promotional materials.
Sports Unit This unit aims to meet the sports-related needs of our university's students and staff, improve their social relations and self-confidence, encourage students and athletes who serve as a resource for national sports, and further develop their talents.
