The Support Services Branch Directorate provides services through 7 distinct units: the Correspondence Unit, Personnel Affairs Unit, Procurement and Tender Unit, Accrual Unit, Movable Property Registration and Control Unit, Part-Time Student Employment Unit, and Student Dormitory and Scholarship Affairs Unit.

Correspondence Unit: This unit is responsible for keeping records of all internal and external official correspondence and personal applications related to our Department, conducting the necessary correspondence, ensuring the archiving of all documents related to these processes, and maintaining the document flow within and between units.

Personnel Affairs Unit: This unit executes the administrative and personal procedures of the staff working within our Department in a timely manner and within the framework of existing regulations. It carries out procedures such as adjustment, appointment, transfer, assignment, retirement, promotion, leave tracking, health reports, and other similar operations for the personnel.

Procurement and Tender Unit: In the execution of our Department's services, this unit carries out purchasing procedures for all needs within our areas of responsibility in accordance with the relevant legislative provisions. It adheres to the basic principles of transparency, competition, equal treatment, reliability, confidentiality, public supervision, fulfilling needs under suitable conditions and on time, and the efficient use of resources.

  • It ensures the necessary document tracking of the purchases and tenders made by the unit, as well as their archiving and forwarding to the relevant units.

  • It monitors the compliance of the purchased materials with the required specifications.

Accrual Unit: This unit coordinates the payment processes and procedures of personal rights—such as salaries, overtime, social benefits, travel allowances, and SSI (Social Security Institution) premiums—for civil servants, workers, and contracted personnel working in our Department, ensuring that payments are made within their legal timeframes. Furthermore, it processes the payment of expenses related to domestic and international temporary assignment travel allowances and duty advances regarding the sporting, cultural, and scientific activities of the students.

Movable Property Registration and Control Unit: This unit maintains the inbound and outbound records of movable properties acquired by our Department and prepares the related documents and charts. It is responsible for receiving the acquired movable properties that have been inspected and accepted by counting, weighing, or measuring them according to their type and nature. It also securely stores the movable properties that are not directly consumed or put into immediate use in the warehouses under its responsibility.

Part-Time Student Employment Unit: This unit is responsible for determining the quotas for Part-Time Students who will work in our University's units starting from the beginning of the Academic Year. Its duties include processing the social security employment entry and exit declarations of the students, preparing their monthly payrolls, submitting insurance, monthly premium, and service documents to the Social Security Institution, and conducting the necessary correspondence with relevant institutions regarding issues related to our branch and other units.

Student Dormitory and Scholarship Affairs Unit: This unit manages the procedures for our University's meal scholarships in accordance with subparagraph (j) of Article 46 of Law No. 2547 (as amended by Law No. 6111 dated 07.07.2011), and KYK (Higher Education Credit and Hostels Institution) scholarships in accordance with Law No. 5102 dated 03.03.2004.

  • Meal Scholarship: The number of scholarships to be granted to our University students is determined annually by the University Management Board and subsequently announced on our University's website. Students who wish to benefit from this service can then submit their applications. This application process takes place in October of every year.
